Emma Raducanu’s former coach Dmitry Tursunov says he left because of ‘red flags’ she gave Tursunov. The former WBC middleweight world champion says that Raducanu did not offer him any money to leave. Emma Raducanu was just leaving a bar in the middle of the night and had been drinking. She was going back and forth with an Italian man, Dmitry Tursunov, and a group of people and had been talking in the street while leaving a bar in the city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Emma, a 26-year-old former world flyweight champion was with Dmitry, a 34-year-old former world middleweight and super middleweight champion, since July 2018 and has known him for 10 years.
“Emma was the biggest liar I’ve ever met in my life. And I tried to be honest with her but she never showed it,” Dmitry said.
According to Dmitry, Raducanu also said Emma had not only slept with his wife but also his two sons.
“I asked her about her relationship with my two sons and she said that the relationship wasn’t just a relationship. She said that both my sons were with me because they needed me and she felt sorry for my sons,” Dmitry said.
Emma, as her father and Dmitry Tursunov remember her, was very emotional and told Dmitry that it would be better if Dmitry could find new opponents so Dmitry sent her money and told Dmitry that he was leaving his team.
